The next best thing to breastfeeding is “5 Phases Hybrid Glass Baby Bottles with Vented Silicone Nipples”.
Christine Barlow, founder of 5 Phases and a mum of two, was spurred on to create safe toxin-free baby bottles after her own son was born three and a half months early with a number of health issues.
She made a conscious decision to spread the word about the dangers of BPA and phthalates which are found in plastic. This led to the birth of 5 Phases Hybrid Glass Baby Bottles.
Christine’s award winning design has:
A removable GLASS INSERT
A semi-transparent PLASTIC SLEEVE free of BPA, PVC and Phthalates
A VENTED SILICONE NIPPLE
Glass inserts come with a silicone plug and once your baby has been transitioned to a cup, the glass inserts can be used to store home-made food in them.
BPA free plastic sleeves are for your babies protection, so there is no need to worry they will hurt themselves or break the glass insert if dropped.
The anti-vacuum silicone nipples were designed with a tiny hole to let air into the bottle as baby sucks on the nipple. The hole is meant to prevent the nipple from collapsing which will lessen the amount of air intake when baby sucks to get milk and in doing so reduces the likelihood of colic and gripe.
All vented silicone nipples come in three different flow rates.
Reducing Carbon Footprint
Less plastic in landfill means reducing the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.
